Richard III: Productions Bios

Lynnea Benson (Director) is delighted to be back at work with such a valiant and gifted group of artists. Frog & Peach directing credits include Merchant of Venice, Hamlet, Richard II(all starring Austin Pendleton), King John, As You Like It, and Macbeth.  Special thanks to John Gulino for his wisdom and guidance, Deborah Wolfson for her calming presence and excellent advice, and to Jenna Lazar for her humor and patience; to Sean Ryan for his invaluable technical support, and to Marcos Sanchez and Andre David of The Church of St. Paul & St Andrew for making Frog & Peach feel so welcome. She’d especially like to thank her loving husband Ted Zurkowski, for being such a wonderful man.


Deborah Wolfson (Assistant Director) is thrilled to be working with Lynnea and Frog & Peach. Directing credits include: Williamsburg! The Musical (also choreographer), Drums in the Night (Bee Sting @ The Flea), Bum’s Rush (Sticky/Blue Box), and three (and counting) plays by Josh McIlvain. Other credits include: Jersey Boys (Broadway, Chicago, Vegas), The Farnsworth Invention, and many shows at The Flea Theater. She is a not too recent graduate of the University of Chicago.

Jenna Lazar (Production/Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back working with the fabulous Frog and Peach family. Jenna is a recent graduate of Cornell University who has always had a love for theater and Shakespeare. She has been involved in various productions in the past, both onstage and off, including Frog and Peach’s production of Hamlet last summer. Thanks to Lynnea and the cast for another wonderful experience. Special thanks to Mom, Dad, Andy, and Chad for their constant love and support.


Kevin Allen (Set Design) is an Emmy Award-winning scenic designer whose work has been featured in TV commercials and news broadcasts, hit films, theater productions, and major corporate exhibitions. He has been profiled in such periodicals as the New York Times, the Washington Post, Scanlines, and the Star-Ledger, and his additional awards include the Broadcast Designer’s Association Bronze Award, the PROMAX Gold Award, and the NJ Theatre “Perry” for Outstanding Scenic Design. He is a member of United Scenic Artists and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Jak Prince (Lighting Design) Jak has designed lights previously for Vital Theate Company, Playwrights and Actors Contemporary Theatre, Uncle Nicky (Theatre on 5) and numerous other productions in the metropolitan area. In addition, Jak is also an actor, director and teacher and currently is the Musical Director and Sound & Lighting advisor for the West Morris Central H.S. in Chester, NJ. Go Wolfpack!!
