Frog and Peach Theatre

YOU’RE INVITED!

On behalf of THE FROG & PEACH THEATRE CO

Dear Friends,

A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

THE FROG & PEACH THEATRE COMPANY RETURNS TO 86TH STREET!

Get Ready for a Whole New Season of Shakespeare At The Beautiful
CHURCH OF ST PAUL & ST ANDREW!

Dear Friends,

I’m very proud and excited to let everyone know about our beautiful new home at the Church of St Paul & St Andrew, at the corner of 86th Street and West End Avenue

We can’t wait to get back into production, bringing you Shakespeare’s finest plays performed by the New York theatre scene’s finest artists, Names You Know and faces you’ve come to love.

Our Fall Production opens October 2 and runs through October 26, 2008.

The space is simply gorgeous; lushly appointed but simple enough to suggest Ancient Rome, Cleopatra’s Court or even the Forest of Arden--just right for our needs.  It’s wheel chair accessible and conveniently located to all public transportation.

We are very grateful to the management team at the Church for giving us this opportunity to return to 86th Street to be near the friends and supporters who’ve made Frog & Peach so welcome in their lives.

So many of you have been supporters since our humble beginnings;  I love running into friends and fans from all over the city who want to know the title of our Debut Season at The Church and St Paul & St Andrew.  Play “Guess The Title” and you could win two free tickets to a benefit performance!

There’s never been a better time to support Frog & Peach.

Who else brings you the beauty of Shakespeare with the excitement and fast-paced thrills of an action movie?  Where else can you find a theatre company on the Upper West Side with the mission to bring you stars like Austin Pendleton in the plays you love?  Who else brings Shakespeare free to members of our community who’ve lived in New York all their lives but have never had the opportunity to go to a real theatre and see a full production?

Please, take a minute to write a check to Frog & Peach or make a donation through PayPal right now!  Help us continue to bring Shakespeare to our diverse community.

Thanks for your commitment to the Arts, and we’ll see you in October!

You can send your tax-deductible donation to:

If you’re not already on our mailing list, please join us by clicking the “contact us” link and we’ll make sure you know about all the excitement coming up this year.  And if you have any questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you.

Thanks again for all your support!  We hope to see you soon!

Play Guess The Title and Win

“The players cannot keep counsel: they’ll tell all.”
--Hamlet III, ii

Where will we transport you?  Will it be to the exotic and sensuous world of Anthony & Cleopatra, the riotous romance of As You Like It, or will we dare to visit the Dark Side with Macbeth?

We might just pull out all the stops and bring you Henry VI, Parts I, II & III, the famous War of the Roses cycle, a non-stop sin-fest and a timely take on war, lust, and every form of corruption you can think of.

Or submit your favorite from Shakespeare’s canon!

YOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT TO US!

Submit your best guess by June 1, 2008 and you could win a pair of free tickets to a gala Benefit Performance!
